Every Matthew McCormick piece is hand-inspected for quality and finishing. Sometimes, we find minor shortcomings in a finish or material. While these pieces do not make it onto our shelf, we put nearly perfect pieces aside at a discount because nearly perfect is still beautiful.
Our Nearly Perfect Sale has become an annual affair at Matthew McCormick Studio. While we cannot guarantee what and how many items will become available, we typically include a limited number of trade show display and discontinued items in the mix.

Things to know before you shop our Nearly Perfect Sale:
We recommend browsing our site to familiarize yourself with our products and configurations. While we have a selection of sale items available, the exact piece you’re after may not be in stock.
Note your ceiling height, location of your junction box, and furniture dimensions if known.
Request a purchase by emailing sales@matthewmccormick.ca with details of the sale fixture you’re interested in.
If a purchase is requested, clients will be provided detailed photos of their selected pieces, or clients can make an appointment to see the fixture in person at our Vancouver office.
Every item is tested and verified prior to being shipped/picked up. All sales are final.
Payment is by credit card or wire transfer.
Upon purchase, clients will have accepted our Nearly Perfect Sale Terms & Conditions.
All fixtures are sold complete, with necessary pendants/lamping, driver(s), canopies, etc. required for full installation. Installation with a a certified electrician is strongly recommended.

The acceptance of any Nearly Perfect product purchase by Matthew McCormick Studio (MMS) is expressly conditioned on Buyer’s acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions:
FINAL SALE: Product is accepted as-is, inspected on-site by Buyer (or via video/images of product) and will be final sale in the available configuration(s) only. Returns or exchanges will not be permitted.
WARRANTY: Final sale items are not covered by the MMS Limited Warranty; Buyer accepts Product condition as-is and can request an electrical test on-site prior to making the purchase, as necessary.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY: Sample Sale fixtures will be sold as a full fixture “kit” which includes the necessary pendants/lamping, driver(s) as needed, canopy and additional componentry necessary for a complete installation. Product kits are accepted as-is at time of purchase and cannot be modified or altered. Ensuing modifications are done at Buyer’s risk and expense.
INSTALLATION: Buyer assumes full responsibility and costs related to the proper installation of the purchased products, noting that personalized electrical requirements (ie. dimming) may be necessary based on the location/circumstances of the install. While installation instructions will be provided, MMS highly recommends that product is installed by a licensed electrician to circumvent unnecessary damage done to the product during the installation the process. MMS is not responsible for any damages to product or the property related to third-party installation.
PAYMENT TYPE: All major credit/debit cards and wire transfers will be accepted at the MMS Last Chance Sale (wire transfer confirmations must be sent to sales@matthewmccormick.ca)
LOCAL SALE: All sale items will be picked up from MMS office (460 - 425 Carrall Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 6E3) upon notification from MMS that your order is ready. Orders will be stored for a maximum of 30 days from the time of notification that it is ready for pick up.
ONLINE SALE SHIPPING: Unless otherwise agreed to in writing by MMS, all products will be shipped F.O.B. from MMS’s warehouse facility in Vancouver, BC. MMS will ship products by the method deemed most satisfactory based on convenience, sustainable practice, experience and/or cost, unless specified by Buyer and confirmed by MMS in writing. Method of packaging is at MMS discretion. Buyer understands and agrees that all delivery times provided for an invoice are approximate and that actual delivery date may vary as a result of events outside of MMS’s control, including but not limited to strikes, accidents, natural disasters or unavailability of material and/or product. Unless otherwise arranged, all freight charges are billed with the product charges. All prices include crating, unless otherwise stated in MMS Price List or for oversized product and combined shipments. Under such circumstances, crating will be quoted separately and billed on final invoice. Buyer is responsible for covering charges incurred should they fail to accept delivery of Product(s) including but not limited to demurrage charges, transportation charges, warehousing fees, storage fees, and insurance costs.
